Here is the New York Magazine Daily Intel reality index link for Monday's Gossip Girl episode and below are a few additions as well as a few other thoughts.
- Serena, who has lived with a less-than-perfect mother figure in Lily, is not Patrick's girlfriend, but more his mom. Plus five because the way she treats him and reprimands him is exactly the way Lily would reprimand Serena.
- After Serena pushed Blair's face into the cake, Blair stood in the middle of the room where a party was going on and wiped the icing off her face. Minus two because Blair would never stand there and clean herself, she would have thrown a hisy fit and stormed to the bathroom.
Don't all of these characters realize that they have been friends forever and will continue to be friends forever so they should stop being petty and holding grudges? Nate and Serena need to get over themselves because, if they haven't already realized, they are close to having no friends left. As for Blair, she is allowed to act like a princess because in her world she is one.
Am I the only person who immediately realized it was Tripp's wife who set up the drowning? It was a clever twist, but I saw it coming. In the political world, it's always the wife who stands by and makes funny faces that is responsible for the scheming.
