I really appreciated Thursday's Grey's Anatomy episode that focused on Arizona's character. She is a breath of fresh air on the show and I love her as a member of this ensemble. Her hope is contagious and it is clear that she cares about everyone around her. I loved that we were allowed a glimpse further into her character during the episode and saw how emotionally attached she gets to her work.
That said, a few plot points from this episode that need to be noticed: With Izzie missing, Alex is stuck with her unpaid medical bills that total hundreds of thousands of dollars; Derek refuses to be fired and continues to show up at work; Cristina went against Owen's orders during a surgery, which led to them fighting because he thinks she is too risky in her work; and the new doctors continue to fall for the unavailable doctors, i.e. Reed for Alex and Jackson for Cristina.
