SYTYCD: Say goodbye to two more dancers

Starting with the next performance episode, the viewers finally get the chance to start voting for their favorite dancers. But, as was the deal last week, the judges chose who performed the best and worst, had four couples dance for their lives and then cut one guy and one girl. I'm not going to summarize the entire episode, but continue reading for a bit about the highlights.

The best dances of the night were Ashleigh and Jakob's waltz; Ellenore and Ryan's tango; Karen and Kevin's hip hop; and Kathryn and Legacy's contemporary. All of these dances were impressive and the choreography was outstanding. It continues to surprise me that these dancers are doing so well so early in the competition even when they are dancing out of their comfort zone.

It was no surprise when Noelle, Phillip, Bianca and Victor were named as the bottom four because their dances were three of the worst of the night. And, as Nigel said, it was a sad moment when Bianca and Phillip - two of the three tappers on the show this season - were sent home. I had higher hopes for these dancers, but they were struggling so it was only right to set them free.
