More than one Matt wants me to watch Modern Family

I have already heard multiple times for multiple people that Modern Family is the new hit comedy to watch, but I keep forgetting/not having time. But now even the Globe's Matthew Gilbert is praising the show in this article that compares it to Parks and Recreation and Better Off Ted as the three great sitcoms on the air right now. While Gilbert talks about how Parks and Rec and Better Off Ted have some room to grow into being the best, he says Modern Family started that way. After hearing all this I have pretty high expectations. I'm sure at some point soon I will find time to catch up with the show online, but now I'm worried I might be disappointed. Here's hoping that doesn't happen. And, for now, let me know if you also watch and give me some reasons why you think it is a show I should be watching.
