I am probably telling you (Matt) information you already know, but there is a Battlestar Galactica prequel in the works. The new show will be called Caprica and is set for a 2010 release. Joanna Weiss has this article about the new show.
The pilot is going straight to DVD (the series won't air until early 2010 -- I really do not understand how the executives at SciFi make decisions), and I'm hoping that Netflix sends it to me tomorrow. I've put quite a bit of thought into getting a new rental sent out tomorrow.
