This week was all about Spencer and Heidi with a little of Stephanie thrown in. Here is a short recap of what happened.
At the very beginning of the episode Stephanie is stirring up trouble by telling Spencer that while at home Heidi met up with her ex-boyfriend Colby. When Heidi gets back to California, Spencer is angry with her and talks about how all they ever do is fight. He even lies when Heidi asks if he has seen the bartender again. Later in the episode we see Spencer meet the bartender at a club. While out with Stephanie Heidi talks about how she thinks Spencer has another life. After getting angry about her situation with Spencer, Stephanie and Heidi decide to go to clubs looking for Spencer since they know he is out with his friends. Stephanie and Heidi find Spencer with the bartender at a club. Spencer tells everyone to stay calm, but Heidi freaks. The girls even spend time throwing insults at one another; Stephanie calls the bartender a home wrecker. Heidi leaves the club saying she wants nothing to do with Spencer. The next morning Stephanie suggests the couple go to therapy and Heidi mentions the option to Spencer. He does not want to and Heidi even goes as far as to give him an ultimatum: they try therapy or she walks away. Spencer says Heidi is blowing things out of proportion and Heidi freaks out that Spencer won't apologize. She more than once threatens to break up with him.
In other events, Kelly asks Lauren for referrals for an open intern position at People's Republic since Whitney is now working in New York. Lauren thinks of Stephanie and she applies for the position. They show footage of the interview and it is so awkward. I don't know why Kelly would ever then higher Stephanie, but she decides to give her a chance. In the end, Kelly puts Lauren in charge of Stephanie saying that if Stephanie screws up, it will be Lauren's job to fire her.
The previews for next week show a blossoming love between Audrina and Brody. That should be interesting. What did you think of this week's episode? Are you as sick of Heidi and Spencer as I am?
