Gossip Girl - premieres Monday, Sept. 14 at 9 p.m.
Here is where things left off: The season finale was also graduation day for the characters. At the end of the episode, after putting a few characters through hell, Gossip Girl announced that she would be following everyone to college. Vanessa and Nate made up and left on their backpacking trip. Georgina was back and she requested to be Blair's roommate at NYU. Carter showed up and claimed to know where Serena's dad is, which made her take off looking for him. Blair and Chuck, for the time being anyway, were happily in love.
Here is what we know: While I would love to see many many scenes in which Georgina gives Blair hell, because of schedule-rearranging at NBC Michelle Trachtenberg was needed earlier than she was supposed to be for her new show Mercy. This means her time on GG is numbered.
What I want/expect to see: I need Blair and Chuck to be happy together for a while. No more games. I hope their love hasn't already fizzled by the time we rejoin them at the start of the season. Also, I look forward to seeing how they deal with these college students attending different colleges. I guess they have money so every episode will just have to revolved around weekend happenings.
One Tree Hill - premieres Monday, Sept. 14 at 8 p.m.
Here is where things left off: Surprisingly, and in a manner very un-OTH-like, everyone ended happily. Peyton and Lucas got married, had their baby, a girl named Sawyer, and drove off into the sunset; Dan went to Whitey and asked to be killed so that he could be put out of his misery, but of course Whitey refused. Dan then visited Peyton and asked to hold the baby since she is the only person who does not yet know the monster he is; Nathan was called up to the NBA!; Mia and Chace are in love and happy; Millie moved back to Tree Hill and back in with Mouth; Unexpectedly, Victoria was the one who got Brooke to realize how much she loved Julian and as the episode ended they were together in LA and happy.
Here is what we know: Chad Michael Murrary and Hilarie Burton are not returning to the show, but there are a few newcomers - including the very gorgeous Robert Buckley - who promise to keep the show interesting.
What I want/expect to see: Other than Robert Buckley with no shirt on - I'd like everyone to continue to be happy while also returning to the suspenseful craziness true fans are used to.
90210 - premieres Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 8 p.m.
Here is where things left off: The Dixon/Silver/Ethan love triangle came to a head and we realized that it may not be only Ethan with feelings for Silver but that Silver may actually have feelings for Ethan; Adriana had the baby and gave her to adoptive parents, all the while being supported by both Brenda and Navid; Liam slept with Naomi's sister Jen, but Naomi jumped to a conclusion and assumed Annie betrayed her. As the season finale ended we saw Jen comforting Naomi even though it was Jen's actions that had Naomi crying; Liam being taken to military school; and Annie driving drunk and hitting something/someone.
Here is what we know: Ethan is not returning to the show, so that means things will have to change at West Bev. No more love triangle for one thing.
What I want/expect to see: We also know there will be a few new faces so I'm looking forward to seeing how they play into the already determined atmosphere. I'd also love to see more Jennie Garth. She is my favorite.
