Maura Tierney focusing on personal life

Maura Tierney has permanently pulled out of the NBC show Parenthood on which she was supposed to star. The full story can be read here. Tierney announced a few months ago that she was fighting breast cancer and NBC pushed back filming of the show so that it would start airing mid-season instead of this fall. But now they are minus one lead actress so who knows if the show will ever actually happen, which is disappointing because it looked like a promising drama.
