Sad news for those who were looking forward to Parenthood

If you are like me and were looking forward to the fall premiere of the new NBC show Parenthood, then the following news may make you sad. Apparently Maura Tierney has some health issues and the studio has decided to push back production of Parenthood until she can participate. So for now, the show is no longer slated to air starting in the fall and will instead begin its run midseason. NBC has decided to push up production of the new show Mercy, which was supposed to start midseason, but will now start airing in the fall. The full story is here. One interesting thing that is pointed out, Michelle Trachtenberg is one of the stars signed on to Mercy so with it starting production months early, how will that affect her stint on Gossip Girl?
