The TV Guide Network goes from unnecessary to Ugly

The TV Guide Network has acquired the rights to air reruns of the ABC show Ugly Betty. The full story can be seen here. This poses a few questions. 1) Why is there even still a TV Guide channel? Don't people have guide buttons for this purpose? People actually still sit and watch the channels scroll across the screen and hope they don't blink when the channel they are waiting for pops up? 2) When people do watch the TV Guide channel isn't it only so they can find something else to watch? Why would someone use this channel to watch a show? There are so many other mediums in which they can watch Ugly Betty reruns (online, DVDs, etc.) that the last place I think I person would turn to would be the TV Guide Network. 3) Why Ugly Betty? Is this just the first show to say yes when the TV Guide Network begged for rights? Or did the TV Guide Network think Ugly Betty would lead to higher viewership?

My final question is for you: Does this make you want to watch the TV Guide Network? I didn't think so.
