And then there were four

Tonight's So You Think You Can Dance episode opened with a Tyce choreographed group routine that was very dramatic, emotional and even sad. But it did showcase the top six's technique. I enjoyed it.

Tonight's episode also featured the return of some of last season's favorites. The four routines nominated for Emmy's were performed, including Twitch and Katie in Mercy and Chelsie and Mark in Bleeding Love. It was great to see them again and to also be reminded at how great (and memorable) routines can be.

As far as special guests are concerned, there was also a performance by the dance troupe JabbaWockeeZ, who are best known as the winners of the first season of America's Best Dance Crew, as well as a performance from musical guest Sean Paul.

But the real business of the night was finding out who made it to next week's finale. We found out right away that Jeanine and Brandon were moving on, but Cat pointed out more than once that that did not mean they were the dancers who received the most votes. So at this point we have no idea who is being favored by the public. At the end of the hour we found out that Kayla and Evan were also through to next week, which means the Melissa and Ade were the dancers sent home one week too early.
