During this episode we find out that Sheldon has an incredible memory that he uses to remember random events/thoughts. He even uses it as an advantage in card games. So during the episode he plays in a competition to get revenge on an enemy. He ends up feeling sympathetic for hating the man, playing poorly on purpose, only to find that the man was playing him and Sheldon quickly lost the game.
In other happenings, Howard wants Leonard to get Penny to set him up with one of her hot friends. Penny reluctantly follows through and at first the date goes painfully bad. Then they awkwardly bond over their overprotective mothers and all ends well.
