I would like to talk about two skits from this weekend's Saturday Night Live hosted by Ryan Reynolds and with musical guest Lady Gaga. The first is the open. While I have been an avid Obama supporter from the very beginning, it was difficult to not find this skit extremely funny. Second, how awful was the Lady Gaga/Madonna skit? It had some potential but the dancing was off and they couldn't even deliver their lines successfully. Both skits are embedded below. Let me know if you feel the same way about either. TO CLARIFY: I think the Obama skit worked better because he did not talk in his usual Obama way. Also, the Madonna skit was funny until Madonna made an appearance.
