PP: "I hope you get better"

Tonight's episode included Katie's trial and was a pretty emotional trainwreck. Following is a recap of the trial as well as a summary of some of the other things that happened.

- Violet is called to testify at Katie's trial and leaves the stand before being sworn in. She says she cannot go through with it and she continues to refuse to talk to anyone. Katie's father then goes to see Violet and tells her Katie wants to talk to her because Katie thinks Violet is the only person who understands her. While at the prison, Katie tries to get Violet to understand that sane Katie is not the same person as crazy Katie and that Katie is not really a monster. Later, Violet admits that Dr. Turner knows Katie needs help, but Violet wants her in prison. Then on the stand for a second time, Violet relives what happened and in the end says Katie was delusional. Violet says she knows Katie is not evil, which means Katie will not go to jail. At the end of the episode, Pete confronts Violet and says he didn't understand why she supported Katie. Pete's a victim too in all this and he just wants the real Violet back. Hopefully now she is on the road to recovery.

In other happenings, after some persuasion, Sam and Addison agree to hire Charlotte to the practice. Charlotte is a neurologist, but now that she's at Oceanside Wellness, she wants to take on a new specialty: sexual dysfunctionality. This makes Cooper angry, or maybe more jealous, but in the end they resolve their problem and are just as in love as ever.
