Could GG be close to cancellation?

TvGuide.com put together this list of shows that may be in danger of being canceled before the full season run ends, and I am a bit shocked to see Gossip Girl on the list. While it seems inevitable that other shows like Dollhouse and Melrose Place are close to the end of their rope, I find it difficult to understand how the CW would continue to pour money into 90210 and abandon GG, which has a pretty dedicated following. I hope this list is wrong. I would be very disappointed if the show did not get a proper full season before it was banished.
