OTH: When will Dan learn to mind his own business?

Here is a recap of last night's One Tree Hill.

- Hailey is arrested for assault following last week when she slapped the woman accusing Nathan of an affair. While in jail, the other women in the holding cell make Hailey start doubting Nathan because they all keep talking about how men always cheat. Then, when Renee comes to visit Hailey to announce that she is dropping the charges, she talks about how Nathan did what he did, which is out of character for him, because he was so drunk. She also tells Hailey to check his cell phone records and her phone number will be there. Hailey brushes this off, but once home Nathan realizes that she is the one person he needs to believe him and she is starting to doubt his word. Clay wants Nathan to hold a press conference and though Hailey originally wanted nothing to do with it, she shows up and stands by his side because they need to be together always. But after promising she believes Nathan, Hailey looks through his phone records and finds Renee's phone number.
- Brooke is worried about Julian working with Alex on the script and Alex proves Brooke right. While Julian is trying to work, Alex decides stripping down will better prove her point. But this only leads to Julian leaving because she is not taking their work seriously. Brooke later goes to Alex and reprimands her for ruining her chances. So Alex goes to Julian dressed professionally and with her serious attitude speech and begs for another chance, which he gives her.
- Millie spent all night out partying with Alex, which worries Mouth. Also in Millie news, Brooke asks her to become a permanent model now that they have decided to make Zero is Not a Size its own line. Meanwhile, Mouth has been demoted and really just wants to talk to Millie, but she keeps blowing him off. Mouth is worried that the modeling culture will be too much for Millie and doesn't want her to agree to be a model. He also voices his worries that Alex is a bad influence on Millie. But in the end, Millie decides she does want to model, which makes Brooke happy but will surely disappoint Mouth.
- Quinn spent the night at Clay's and at first we think they are sleeping together but by the end of the episode we learn that though they are letting everyone think this is true, they are actually not sleeping together. Clay is only trying to support Quinn during her rocky relationship with David.

At the very end of the episode we see Dan and Renee together. While for now it is unclear whether he is just now getting involved or was the person who initially orchestrated this entire lie, the fact that he is involved at all is bad news. We'll have to wait until next week to find out his actual involvement.
