Entourage: Apparently Ari has a heart

Last night was the Entourage season finale and I have to admit, I was entertained. Plus, almost all of the storylines ended the way I thought they should, with the exception of Turtle, so the guys seem to be happy in their lives. Here is a recap.

- Turtle, as proof that he is moving on from Jamie, tells the guys he slept with the sorority girl, but a few seconds later we find out he is lying. Turtle then goes to her place and is obviously not into his make out session with her. She even compares kissing him to kissing a corpse. This is obviously because he loves Jamie and he tells the girl he wishes he had gone to New Zealand with her. That's when he realizes he should go. So he packs his bag and gets on a plane, all the while calling her numerous times. Jamie finally calls him back only to tell him not to come. She says she didn't break up with him for him, like she said, but that she broke up with him for her; If they are going to have a future together, Jamie says she doesn't want them to try to work at their relationship now.
- Drama considers quitting acting even when he learns that Melrose Place really wants him. But after they offer him more money, he decides to go in for the audition because he could still turn it down if they offer it to him. The producer tells him he blew them away with the audition but that the network thinks he is too old for Melrose. Yet, they were so impressed by him, they want to put a holding deal on him while they create a show for him to star in.
- Ari and his wife are in therapy talking about Ari buying Terrance's company. Apparently, Ari needs to front $12 million of the deal himself, but the money he would need to use would actually be his wife's so he needs her permission. His wife thinks the purchase is too personal and that it is only for revenge, but Ari swears he needs the company because it is good business. So his wife lets him have the money. Then, while in a meeting with Terrance, Ari finds out that the contract says that after he buys the company it cannot be renamed Miller-Gold because the current name has a history. Ari storms out. Terrance then goes to visit Ari and confronts Ari for not letting go of the past. Terrance only wants to continue his legacy and the reason he wants Ari to buy the company is because he knows Ari will be able to do that. Ari wants an apology and Terrance delivers, so Ari agrees to let him keep his name. So, with a paintball gun in hand, Ari storms through the office firing people. He even yells about wanting Lloyd to meet him at his office. Lloyd actually shows up and stands up for himself to Ari, showing guts Ari admits he didn't even know Lloyd had. That is when Ari offers Lloyd an agent position, complete with his own office.
- Vince is leaving for Italy the next day to film a movie and at the beginning of the episode it seems like he is going alone. Also in this episode, Matt Damon corners Vince and tells him he wants him involved with a foundation he does work for that helps kids. But after they meet by accident in a store, Matt also calls Vince and pressures him some more. Then they run into one another while boarding the plane to Italy and Matt tells Vince the amount he donated wasn't enough and that he needs to donate more. So Vince agrees because it's "for the kids." As the episode ends, Vince boards the plane to Italy.
- At the beginning of the episode we hear from E that he is planning to tell Sloan - AGAIN - that he wants to get back together with her and that he is planning a special lunch. He takes her to lunch at a place where they spent a romantic weekend together three years ago and when he tells her his plan, she gets pissed. She had canceled a date with the guy she is seeing because E told her what they were doing was really important. She demands they go home right away. During the drive E tries to talk to her and when things get heated he pulls over to the side of the road. They get out and argue. Sloan calls E selfish and says he took her for granted when they were together. She says she still can't trust him because he will never be able to commit to her fully. Then E tells her he is so willing to commit that he is willing to drive to Vegas and marry her right then. At first she doesn't believe him, but then she sees the ring he has with him. The next day, they announce their engagement to the guys and point out that the only reason they didn't elope was that they knew the guys - and her father - would have been mad that they missed the wedding.

So, in the end, Drama joined Vince on the trip to Italy and Turtle plans to meet them there once he can get a flight from New Zealand. Right before the plane left, Sloan told E he could go if he wanted to, which was a test, and he kissed her and got on the plane. Just as she was about to walk away pissed off, he turns around and tells her he was kidding. Maybe he really has changed and is ready for a commitment with her.

Well, there it is. Another season ended. What did you think of the episode and the season as a whole? Do you also wish they showed Vince shooting his movie once in a while? Vince needs a storyline, why couldn't that be it? Until next season.
