SVU: "The memory never formed and maybe it never will"

Tonight's Law & Order: SVU episode discussed two issues that usually lead to people having strong opinions: abortion and whether or not alcoholism is a disease. While I would love to preach my beliefs on these two topics, I'll pass. Instead, I will say that this episode was a pretty great one. While the abortion topic was only a part of the show for a few minutes, alcoholism was there for a while. And, in the end, an unlikely character was found disputing alcoholism while also hiding behind it.
