This episode picked up one month after Violet's attack and we find her is pretty bad shape - she's jumpy, afraid of the doorbell, hides in the closet, refuses to go outside, doesn't want to hold the baby, etc. Pete has been staying with Violet and helping her with things, but it is during this time that he realizes he is not truly helping her so he tells her he is moving back to his house as a way to force her to stand on her own two feet. Violet later opens up to Charlotte about how she feels no connection to the baby and that she is not ready to deal with the responsibilities of being a mother. At the end of the episode Violet shows up at Pete's door with the baby and tells him she is being a good mother. Her way of caring for the baby is letting him go so she leaves him with Pete and walks away.
Other happenings: Naomi is realizing that there is less of a family environment at her new practice; Cooper still blames himself for the attack and keeps putting off visiting Violet; Cooper accuses Charlotte of being heartless, which is the same reason she was fired from her practice; Addison is finding it difficult to talk to Naomi because it is like she is a different person.
The next new episode will feature the arrival of Bailey as well as the announcement of who is Lucas' father. Stay tuned.
