A few thoughts before I recap tonight's Glee episode:
1) I was sad that there was no Emma this week.
2) Did anyone notice the shaky camera in a few scenes tonight? It was a bit distracting.
3) I loved that there were lots of performances in the episode. And I haven't been noticing the lip syncing as much as I did the first few episodes. I just find the performances entertaining now.
4) The random Asian dancer has a name and it's Mike. We also learn that he is great at popping and locking.
This week Sue takes on being glee club's co-director, which leads to Will acting crazy. In front of the principal Sue and Will pretend to be all buddy/buddy. But in reality, they are each willing to sink really low to win the battle they are engaged in: Sue tries to convince the glee members that Will is racist, while Will begins failing the cheerios so that they are ineligible to cheer. In the end, Sue steps down, but not before numerous hysterical scenes between her and Will.
In other happenings, Will tells Terri he wants a more active role in her pregnancy so Terri and her sister blackmail the doctor into playing along with Terri's fake pregnancy; Rachel steps up and agrees to go to extreme lengths to keep Quinn's pregnancy a secret, telling people it is because she is looking out for Quinn when really she has her feelings for Finn to blame; Quinn is extremely jealous of Finn and Rachel, which is understandable because they obviously have chemistry, but how can she be jealous after she cheated?; the news about Quinn's pregnancy is now common knowledge and even Sue knows.
I find myself looking forward to this show each week. Just today I remembered it was Wednesday and that the show was on and it brought a smile to my face. This is by far my favorite new show this season. That said, from the preview, next week's episode looks really funny. I'm already excited.
